The trees got me first.
There’s that almost-secret street that leads you in — the one that makes you feel tucked away and secluded, even though we’re surrounded on every side. I didn’t expect to love that Walmart so close by, and now it’s honestly one of my favorite things. The traffic was never as bad as I feared. The preserve sits just far enough away to feel wild, and just close enough to enjoy.
What I love most are the small things. Neighbors waving as you drive past. A nod on a morning or evening walk. That feeling of peace that meets me every time I pull in — right after the speed bumps I’ve learned to live with. (We can’t have everything.)

I thought I’d mind it. I was wrong — convenience without the traffic headache I expected. Now I’d miss it.

Parks & preserve
The Oakleaf Plantation amenity center — pools, a sprayground, water slides, and game fields. And just down the road, the 386-acre Tillinghast Wildlife & Environmental Area with quiet pine trails.
Gyms & fitness
Chuze Fitness off the First Coast Expressway & Argyle Forest Blvd is open 7 days a week. Plus all the sidewalks and trails for those morning and evening walks.
Eats & coffee
Argyle Forest Blvd and Oakleaf Town Center are loaded — Raising Cane’s, Gator’s Dockside, sushi, tacos, Slice, bubble tea, EPIC Theatres, and Super Target all close by.

Word around the neighborhood is a new Taco Bell is going in by the Walmart — more convenience, less driving. (I’ll update this as it’s confirmed!)

We’re a blended family of five, doing life here like you. I bake sourdough (Mondays are bread days), and I’m forever dreaming about my garden — so please don’t judge my half-finished one. One day I hope to build it out and share the good from it.
My husband Jesus keeps our garden, loves to make friends, and is always the first to lend a hand. Faith, family, and homemaking aren’t things we set beside our work — they’re the center of it. It’s also how we run our brokerage: with integrity, clarity, and people first — never pressure.
